About Us & Principal's Welcome

Welcome to General Wayne Elementary School, Home of the Eagles!

General Wayne is a school committed to implementing the 3Bs in all that we do: Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be Safe. To that end, we work together to build community, to focus on learning, and to have fun. We are proud to work with a staff that collaboratively supports the needs of all children in fun and caring ways.

In addition to classroom structures and lessons that promote a sense of community, General Wayne also hosts several events throughout the year that engage our students, families, and staff. Our annual Soup Night fundraiser, Turkey Trot, Spring Musical, and Field Day are just a few of the events our school community looks forward to every year. Our extracurricular activities also nurture the interests and talents of our students outside the classroom.

Our PTO is actively involved in our school. We are grateful for parents and guardians who support our staff and our students in a plethora of ways. From staff luncheons and dinners to our Spring Fair, our PTO is an integral part of our school.
